Africa Fighting Malaria On Monday, December 5th, AFM's Roger Bate testified before the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Human Rights on the increasing threat of antimalarial drug resistance in Africa; a threat that could become a reality due to the proliferation of fake and substandard antimalarial drugs in African markets and the poorly managed AMFm perpetuating inappropriate treatment of non-malarial fevers with antimalarial drugs.
